"The biggest influence on my patient care is being a parent myself. I treat all my patients as if they are my own. I want to do right by them and their families." -Dr. Elbert Kwak

About Dr. Elbert Kwak, DDS

Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry

A native of Orlando, FL, and an avid sports fan, Dr. Elbert Kwak studied Biology at Emory University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at NYU Langone Dental. During his postdoctoral residency, he provided dental care for vulnerable and underserved populations at Kokua Kalihi Valley in Honolulu, HI (Aloha!).

After his General Dentistry residency, Dr. Kwak began practicing family dentistry in Texas, where he discovered his passion for working with children and patients with special health care needs. His involvement with ‘Give Kids A Smile,’ a volunteer program providing free oral care to underprivileged children, inspired him to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry. He completed his Pediatric Dental Specialist training at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York City, where he was honored by faculty and fellow doctors to serve as Chief Resident.

Upon earning his specialist certification, Dr. Kwak and his family returned to Texas, where he has been serving families in surrounding areas of League City. His goal as your child’s dentist is to empower families with evidence-based care and knowledge, helping children enjoy a lifetime of healthy, beautiful smiles. He is known for creating a positive, fun dental experience, bringing humor, patience, and even the occasional spontaneous off-key song into the office–don’t be surprised if Buddy joins in!

When he's not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and their dogs, Buddy Astro and Dolly, and exploring new restaurants and bakeries.
